SERPCompass

Everything a search team needs, connected.

Ten working modules that share one evidence trail — from discovering demand, to fixing the page, to proving the outcome against your own Search Console data. Not ten disconnected tools with ten different exports.

Four stages, one continuous loop

Each module belongs to a stage. Findings move forward automatically — an opportunity becomes a plan, a plan becomes a check.

  1. HuntDemand radar, market watch, authority signals, local presence, traffic intelligence.
  2. DecideOpportunity portfolio, evidence explorer, impact scoring.
  3. PrepareContent studio, technical fixes, corrective plans.
  4. LearnRank movement, AI search presence, search outcomes.

What each one measures, and how

Every number in SERPCompass is traceable to a method. Where a figure is modelled rather than observed, the product says so on the number itself.

  • AI answers

    AI search presence

Whether AI assistants mention you when someone asks about your category — share of voice against competitors, which sources get cited, and how it moves week to week.

Measured by probing assistants with a category prompt set and recording appearance, citation and sentiment per answer.

  • Keywords

    Demand radar — keyword research

Seed a topic and get the demand around it: expansion into real queries people type, search intent, topic clusters, and a difficulty read on who you'd have to beat.

Built from Google Autocomplete expansion plus recurrence-weighted demand scoring, with difficulty derived from the authority of who actually ranks on page one.

  • Rankings

    Rank movement

Positions over time, a visibility index, competitor positions and the result features that change how much a position is worth — snippets, People Also Ask, AI overviews.

Multiple independent search sources are fused into one consensus ranking, then stored as a time series. Where you've connected Search Console, your real positions are used as ground truth.

  • Site audit

    Technical fixes — site audit

A full crawl with the problems ordered by what they cost you: broken links, redirect chains, canonical conflicts, indexability, structured data, thin and duplicate content, crawl depth and orphan pages, Core Web Vitals.

Real crawl of your site, structured data validated against schema, and Core Web Vitals measured in a real headless browser rather than pulled from a third-party score.

  • Content

Content studio — on-page and semantic

Take one page and one target query, and see the gap: title and heading structure, keyword placement, the terms and entities the ranking pages cover that you don't, plus internal links worth adding.

Your page is compared term by term and entity by entity against the pages currently ranking for that query, so recommendations are measured, not generic best practice.

  • Competitors

    Market watch — competitive analysis

Who you actually compete with in search, the queries they rank for and you don't, share of voice across a topic, and where their momentum is changing.

Competitors are discovered from overlap in real result pages, then compared as set differences across ranked queries and referring domains.

  • Backlinks

    Authority signals — backlinks

Referring domains, anchor text distribution, the relative authority of who links to you, and a spam and toxicity read with a disavow starting point.

Links are discovered and then verified by fetching the linking page, so a claimed link is a link that exists today. Authority is a relative score, not a vendor's proprietary metric.

  • Traffic

    Traffic intelligence

Estimated organic traffic by page and query, trends over time, and a visibility estimate for competitors you can't see inside.

Modelled as position times relative demand times click-through rate. For your own connected properties, Search Console's exact clicks and impressions replace the estimate.

  • Local

    Local presence

How you show up for service-plus-city searches, local pack presence, name-address-phone consistency and whether your location markup is doing its job.

Location-parameterised searches run per city and keyword, with on-page business markup validated directly.

  • Reports

    Search outcomes — reporting

Branded PDF and HTML reports for clients and stakeholders, plus an evidence explorer where any claim can be traced back to the run that produced it.

Reports render from the same stored evidence the workspace uses — there is no separate reporting number that can drift from the product.

Open sources and your own accounts, not rented estimates

Most suites resell a third-party data vendor and price the markup into your subscription. We built on open sources and the free APIs you already own, which is why the entry price can be what it is.

  • Your own accountsGoogle Search Console and analytics — exact, first-party truth for sites you control. Connected with your permission, revocable any time.
  • Open search sourcesMultiple independent result sources fused into one consensus ranking, so no single source's noise becomes your number.
  • Public web crawl dataOpen web-graph data for link authority, plus our own verification crawl for freshness.
  • Your own historyEvery run adds to your workspace's own record, so click-through models and baselines get more accurate the longer you use it.

The limits, stated up front

A tool that only tells you good news isn't measuring anything. Here is what our data can't do yet.

Absolute search volume isn't available from free sources. We show relative demand and estimated ranges, clearly labelled, never a fake precise monthly number.

Open search sources are less exhaustive than a paid rank API at very high volume. Fusing several sources is what makes the result dependable; we still tell you the confidence.

Open link data is real but less fresh and less complete than a dedicated backlink vendor. We verify what we report rather than inflating the count.

We don't promise rankings. The product tells you what changed, what you did, and whether the two look connected.

One website, looked at properly

Every plan covers a single site. What changes as you move up is how deep we go on it — how many pages each scan reads, how often we scan, and how many answer engines we check.

  • One evidence trailEvery finding links back to the run that produced it, so a number is never something you have to take on trust.
  • Reports you can hand overA plain-language read for whoever decides, and an exact one for whoever implements.
  • Unlimited seatsAdd whoever needs to see it. We meter work done, never people invited.
